Air Force Organizational Excellence Award Streamer

The Air Force Organizational Excellence Award is a decoration of the United States Air Force and is the lowest ranking unit award. The decoration was first created in 1969 and is awarded to Air Force internal organizations that are entities within larger organizations. They are unique, unnumbered organizations or activities that perform functions normally performed by numbered wings, groups, squadrons, etc.

Additional awards of the Organizational Excellence Award are denoting on the ribbon by oak leaf clusters. For those units which are presented the decoration through combat operations and or direct combat support, the valor device may also be authorized.
