In the Oriental Secrets series of programs, healing arts of Eastern cultures are explored for enhancement of both external and internal health. This program features ancient Asian calisthenics, a series of dynamic poses that have been used traditionally to tone and strengthen muscles and other body structures. Focusing on "chi" -- the life energy that flows through all living things -- these exercises, which involve slow movements, are performed along with specific breathing techniques. The lessons are suited for participants at all fitness levels.
