Biography
The target of many a Hollywood joke, American producer Orville O. Dull ("A Dull Production") began his screen career as a comic actor under the name Bunny Dull. He directed a couple of Buck Jones Westerns for Fox in the 1920s before becoming a production manager at United Artists and MGM. Dull was elevated to full producer-ship by MGM in 1940, turning out mostly potboilers. He earned an Academy Award in 1948 for the documentary feature The Secret Land. ~ Hans J.
