Oskar Osala (born December 26, 1987 in Vaasa, Finland) is a Finnish ice hockey forward (LW/Center).

He started his career in Vaasa-based Sport. He then made his North American debut with the OHL's Mississauga IceDogs in 2005. He was then drafted in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, 97th overall, 4th round, by Washington Capitals.

Osala shared the goal scoring title in 2007 IIHF World Junior Championships. Osala scored five goals in six games. He shared the lead with four other players.

In the 2007–08 season, he played in Espoo Blues in SM-liiga. He also made his debut in the national team during the season. After season Osala was named the Finnish League rookie of the year.

Osala signed a three-year contract with Capitals in June 2008. On December 10, 2008, Osala made his NHL debut replacing the injured Tomas Fleischmann in Capitals 3-1 win against Boston Bruins.

Osala finished the season with Hershey Bears Calder Cup winning team. Osala scored two goals in the first final.
