Was formed in Melbourne in 1973 by Colin Talbot, Morris Schwarz, Mark Gillespie and Alfred Milgrom. Intent on publishing books of interest to young thinking people, it has produced such volumes as Applestealers, Mother I'm Rooted, The Collapsible Man and The Outback Reader: A Collection of Australian Contemporary and Experimental Short Fiction. An associate company is Dingo Books.
