The Outernet Server software is a modified distribution of Debian intended to be used on amateur radio High Speed Multimedia networks. The software consists of preconfigured software and an automated installer and provides software services to HSMM networks.
The name Outernet is a play on the word Internet as it uses all the same protocols and services as the internet, just out side of it (wirelessly).
This software is currently in beta status. The most current version is Beta 1.

- FTP Server with anonymous read and write
- Apache Webserver
- PHPbb Bulletin board software
- DNS Server with forwarding
- Automatic identification of clients sufficient for FCC regulations.
