Review
On her third album, 1996's Outside Eden, Kat Eggleston stretches her range, placing tracks like "Flower of Northumberland" and "Shit" side by side. Eggleston's voice and playing are more than up to the task of making such a pair sound comfortable next to each other, however, and "Go to the Water," "Dreaming In Color" and "No Laughing Matter" make Outside Eden a strong, accomplished collection of contemporary folk. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
