ovonic memory switch
(ō′vän·ik ′mem·rē ′swich)
(electronics) A glass switch which, after being brought from the highly resistive state to the conducting state, remains in the conducting state until a current pulse returns it to its highly resistive state. Abbreviated OMS. Also known as memory switch.
