In electrocardiography, refers to the P and R waves.

  • P–R interval — the period from the beginning of the P wave to the beginning of the QRS complex.
  • P–R segment — the isoelectric tracing that follows the P wave and ends with the deflection of the Q wave. It represents the delay of the electrical impulse at the atrioventricular node.
