Rival Interactive, the same studio that created Real War for the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, originally helped develop P.R.I.S.M. as another military training game for use by the armed forces. The title acronym stands for "Preemptive Reconnaissance and Identification Security Mainframe," and refers to a newly developed system of equipment for use in combating terrorism. "P.R.I.S.M." is capable of remotely hacking into video surveillance systems across the country, allowing government officials to surreptitiously monitor private feeds and identify potential threats before they become real. When terrorist actions are suspected, the player is sent to handle the threat. P.R.I.S.M.: Threat Level Red is Playlogic's commercial version of P.R.I.S.M.: Black Shield, which was developed with Rebellion for use by the Army National Guard. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
