Pacifico beer

Cerveza Pacífico Clara (its full name) is a Mexican pilsner-style beer. It was first brewed in 1900 when three Germans opened a brewery, the Cerveceria del Pacífico in Mazatlán. Cerveza Pacifico is named so because the Pacifico brewery is located in the Pacific Ocean port city of Mazatlán, in the state of Sinaloa, México. The picture inside the lifesaver depicts the hill upon which the port's lighthouse is located, known locally as "Cerro del Crestón." In Mazatlán, the beer is available in three different size bottles: "cuartitos" (6 fl. oz), "medias" (12 fl. oz.), and "ballenas" (32 fl. oz.), as show here. "Clara" means clear, as opposed to "obscura" (dark).

The Pacifico brewery was bought by Mexican brewing giant Grupo Modelo in 1954. The Anheuser-Busch company now owns a little more than half of Grupo Modelo.

Pacifico is one of the beers that appear in the TV Series Two and a Half Men, along with Corona and Dos Equis, where the lable is clearly shown.
