Shops and building inside
Opened on the fall of 2007, the Pacific Place Jakarta consisted of six floors, and included several notable tenants, such as Blitzmegaplex, Kidzania Jakarta, Kem Chicks, and the Metro Group, which also opened a Metro Department Store in Pondok Indah Mall. Previously, the mall was somewhat reminiscent of that of a dead mall, as a result of a lack of public advertisement. However, the mall became quickly famous in December 2007, when Kidzania Jakarta was open publicly. The availability of Blitzmegaplex also garnered success of the mall itself. As a result of the decision of the mall's operators, Metro changed its Department Store tenant's name to M Pacific Place. Lately, more of the famous tenants opened, including Best Denki, Panorama Tours (also as a sponsor of Kidzania Jakarta, also located in the mall. The mall was also widely-acclaimed for hosting special events, such as the RBS F1 Driver Challenge, a Formula One simulator based on the Williams FW29. And also has been the venue for Jakarta Fashion Week.
