Paint-To-Paint

Term often used in a Condominium or Co-Op apartment complex to describe exclusive ownership boundaries. The Unit is owned from the inside of walls that are attached to other units. The complex as a whole owns the walls that separate the units.
Example: Because the condominium owner's property boundaries were paint-to-paint, the individual owner was not responsible for a pipe that burst within the walls that separated the units.
