Sumaira Zahoor finished last overall in the 1500 metres, more than 30 seconds behind the next-to-last runner in her heat.
The five-man Pakistani boxing team won just two matches in Athens, and no boxer progressed beyond the round of 16.
Men's Competition:
The Pakistani team lost their opening game to Germany, and despite winning three of their next four matches handily, a loss to Spain was enough to prevent them from making the top two in the group, relegating them to the 5th placed classification bracket. They won both qualification matches to end up 5th, beating India and New Zealand on the way. The team's top scorer was Sohail Abbas, who scored 11 goals in the tournament, while no other teammate scored more than four.
Rubab Raza was the first Pakistani woman to compete in a swimming race at the Olympics Games
