Biography

New Yorker Pal Joey grew up with house and hip-hop, and incorporated the two on his 12-volume Loop-D-Loop series of singles. Using soul influences and live jazz musicians, his New Breed project released Section of Life in 1995 on Instinct Records. Pal Joey has produced for Deee-Lite, Boogie Down Productions, Shabba Ranks and MC Lyte, and remixed Lisa Stansfield, the Orb and Sade. ~ John Bush, Rovi
