Plot

Director Nida Sinnokrot examines the repercussions of the massive Israeli Security Wall as well as the Settlement expansion in the affected Palestinian faming communities throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip in this eye-opening documentary focusing on the grass roots resistance movement that has slowly gained momentum in the wake of the 400-mile long wall's construction. It was 1923 when Ze'ev Jabotinsky expressed the need to establish a state of Israel in historic Palestine in his essay The Iron Wall. Nearly seventy years later, construction of just such a wall commenced in the Occupied West Bank. By detailing how the vast majority of natural resources - including 65% of fruits and vegetables produced in the region and essential water supplies - fall on the Israeli side of the wall, Sinnokrot attempts to highlight the plight of the Palestinian people for the whole world to see. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
