Paloma Creek is a master-planned community covering approximately 1,200 acres (4.9 km2) in eastern Denton County, Texas. The community was developed by Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors Inc. Paloma Creek is located on U.S. Route 380 in an unincorporated area governed by the Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts 8-A, 8-B, 11-A, 11-B, and 11-C. The Dallas North Tollway and Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge are major factors for the rapid residential growth in the area.[1]
In early 2005, the first phase of homes was completed.
Upon its completion, the community will be populated with some 5,500 homes[2] constructed by several different builders.
Paloma Creek is divided into the sections listed below:

Many children living in Paloma Creek attend schools within the Denton Independent School District. They attend Paloma Creek Elementary School, Navo Middle School, and Denton High School or Denton Ryan High School. Students have been offered enrollment at Savannah Elementary when PC Elementary had full classes. There is an active homeschool community. A good number of the houses in the southern area of the community are located within the Little Elm Independent School District. [3]
Paloma Creek Shopping Center is located at U.S. Route 380 and Paloma Creek Boulevard. Major tenants on the north side of the highway include Walgreens, Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Center, Pizza Hut, Sonic Drive-In, and Sherwin-Williams.[4] The south side of the highway is home to 7-Eleven with a Shell gas station, Cenntenial Liquor, O'Reilly Auto Parts, and AllStorage self storage.
Police protection is provided by the Denton County Sheriff's Office. Fire protection is provided by the City of Aubrey Fire Department funded by a monthly $10 fee, added to the water bill, to cover residents of Paloma Creek, Providence, and Savannah communities. The Town of Little Elm, Texas is required to serve the commercial areas, as they are located in its town limits. Water and sewer is provided by a fresh water supply district who contracts with Mustang SUD for billing purposes and Waste Management for trash and recycling.
