The music performed by Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos at the mythical Papa Mojo's Roadhouse ranges from both vocal and instrumental blues to zydeco, from Cajun to R&B and boogie-woogie. It makes for a fast-moving, spirited, and generally unpredictable show, featuring Mel Melton on vocals and harmonica along with guitarist Ricky Oliverez and many guests. The overall results may not be innovative or virtuosic, but they are certainly enjoyable and perfect for any New Orleans R&B-flavored party.
