Paraíso de Osorio is a municipality in the La Paz department of El Salvador.
Paraiso de Osorio is a small beautiful village in the La Paz department and is the only village in El Salvador to play carambolas. Originally named El Paraiso (The Paradise), Paraiso De Osorio was established in the early 19th Century. In 1833 when it officially became a town, it became known as Paraiso de Osorio, in honor of General Rafael Osorio.
It is a shame that at present the game has gone on to the trunk of the recollections; what needs is to have more self-esteem to our village; but it depends on us the native ones of the people(village), rescuing and dusting this game.
Es una lástima que en la actualidad el juego haya pasado al baúl de los recuerdos; lo que hace falta es tener mas amor propio a nuestro pueblo; pero depende de nosotros los nativos del pueblo, rescatar y desempolvar este juego. ____________ El 23 de Octubre del 2008, la Villa de Paraiso de Osorio, paso a formar parte de la gran carretera cibernética del internet; ¿pero como es que sucedió esto?.
La necesidad es la madre de la innovación y de los grandes avances cientificos y tecnológicos; la idea habia nacido hacía más ya de dos años atras a esta fecha mencionada,el pueblo estaba siendo dejado a un lado de todos los avances informaticos que ya en otros lugares se conocian, esto parecia ironico, ya que quiza mas del 50% de los habitantes de esta villa, tiene un familiar viviendo en otro pais de este hermoso planeta. ¿Pero quien inicio la gestion?

On October 23, 2008, the Villa of Osorio's Paradise, form a part of the great cybernetic road of the Internet; but since is this that it happened?.
The need is the mother of the innovation and of the big scientific and technological advances; the idea had born already of two years behind to this mentioned date, the people village was being left aside of all the computer advances that already in other places were known, this seemed to be ironic, since probably more than 50 % of the inhabitants of this villa, has a relative living in another country of this beautiful planet. But whom it did the management?
