Plot
Parce Que je T'Aime was released internationally under its English-language title Because I Love You. Nicolas Rimsky stars as Professor Marchal, who at the height of his professional success marries his secretary Jacqueline (Diana Hart). Their union is a happy one until the arrival of Marchal's godson Serge (Rene Ferte). At first unaware of the blossoming romance between Jacqueline and Serge, the professor isn't quite certain how to handle things when the truth comes out. Electing to give his wife her freedom, Marchal saves face by pretending to leave her in favor of his (non-existent) mistress. But when Serge turns out to be a faithless scoundrel, Jacqueline and Marchal are blissfully reunited. ~ Hal Erickson, RoviCast
