Tramway line T2 (Trans Val-de-Seine) is a tramway just outside the limits of Paris proper, connecting La Défense with Porte de Versailles. It opened in 1997, mostly on converted SNCF right-of-way and was extended in 2009 from its southern station of Issy-les-Moulineaux.

Because of the success of this line (80,000 people use it daily) the trams were doubled in length in 2005, raising the capacity of each tram to 440 passengers.

A northward extension to Bezons is under construction and is planned for completion in 2011.
