Biography

Put together by Peanuts & Corn labelheads John Smith and Mcenroe, Park-Like Setting was a conceptual project that included fellow Vancouver resident DJ Hunnicut on turntables. Based around the idea of a college curriculum presented in hip-hop form, the album's songs had titles like "Political Science" and "Extracurricular Activities," with lyrics that play off of the idea that Smith and Mcenroe are the unofficial "teachers" in the group. Releasing School Day 2, Garbage Day 4 in 2001, it would be the only release from the trio. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
