Parking Ratio

Number of parking spaces per 1,000 square feet of Gross Leasable Area.
Example: A 1-million-square-foot mall had a parking ratio of 5, meaning that for every 1,000 square feet of building, there were 5 parking spaces. This meant there were 5,000 parking spaces for the property.
