pastism presentism
Presentism, pastism Presentism is the view that only the present is real. Pastism is the view that the present and past are real, but not the future. The difficulty for presentism is to explain why some statements about the past and future are true, and others not, if there is no corresponding aspect of reality or truthmaker for them.
