Plot

In the 1950s, Pat Boone rivaled Elvis Presley in popularity. Despite Boone's whitebread persona, he introduced mainstream white America to a number of songs initially performed or written by black artists. For example, in July of 1955, Boone had a number one hit with "Ain't That a Shame," which was originally recorded by Fats Domino. In this compilation video, Boone himself introduces 19 clips of his performances, many taken from his television variety series, The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom.
