Patrick Billington (born 12 April, 1981 in in Scarborough, UK) is a Radio Presenter, currently with *TFM Radio and *Viking FM.
Career
He began his radio career aged 18 at *Yorkshire Coast Radio presenting every show on the station before joining *Real Radio in Wales in 2003. He then joined what is now The Local Radio Company (TLRC) presenting the 25+ station Networked Evening Show from *Minster FM in York. After a stint on Breakfast at *Home FM in Huddersfield, Patrick joined TFM presenting the Evening Show for 2 years.
Currently
Since April 2007, he has been freelancing across the North of England mostly within EMAP, but also works on TLRC stations and spent a week with GCAP's *Plymouth Sound. He also runs Ocean Promotions (Disco's & Videography) from Scarborough across the North East and Yorkshire.
Family
Patrick is the son of International Concert Pianist, Vincent Billington, a BBC Pianist who spent many years with some of the country's top orchestras including the BBC Welsh and The Hallé as well as numerous radio appearances on Radio 3 and the World Service. He spent twelve seasons at The Spa, Scarborough with *Max Jaffa.
