Patrick Harvey was born on July 24th, 1984 in Melbourne, Australia and is an Irish/Australian actor. He played Northern Irish immigrant Connor O'Neill on the television soap opera Neighbours. His first appearance on the soap was in April 2002. Harvey spent most of his childhood in Andersonstown, Belfast, Northern Ireland, caring for his sick grandparents, although he moved back to Melbourne in the town of Frankston in August 1999.
Harvey unsuccessfully tried to land an acting career in Northern Ireland and it was only due to his parents' encouragement that he pursued it in Australia. He had a few guest appearances on the ABC show The Saddle Club and long-running TV series Blue Heelers, as well as doing a commercial for Australian fast-food chain Red Rooster.
Harvey left Neighbours in February 2006 after a four-year run in the serial. His final scenes aired in mid 2006.
He was most recently seen on Channel 31's "The Breakfast Show with The Shambles" in September of 2007. Later on, he appeared in the 2007 pantomime of Cinderella in the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
In 2008, he appeared in Australian telemovie Valentine's Day.
In 2008, he appeared in the television advertisement for Heinz SteamFresh Mix & Match vegetables.
