Patrick Norton (born 1928) is a former Irish Labour Party politician. He first stood for election at the Kildare by-election on 19 February 1964 but he was not elected.[1] The by-election was caused by the death of his father William Norton, former Tánaiste and Labour Party leader from 1932 to 1960. Patrick Norton was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Labour Party Teachta Dála (TD) for the Kildare constituency at the 1965 general election[2] He lost his seat at the 1969 general election but was subsequently elected to the 12th Seanad on the Administrative Panel.
