An overcooked, over-produced re-recording by Lee Greenwood of his classic "God Bless the U.S.A." starts off Patriotic Country, but thankfully it's not indicative of this compilation as a whole. Patriotic Country is unabashedly that: 18 of country music's most celebrated artists paying homage to America in various fashions.
