Paul Cooper
(b Victoria il, 19 May 1926 ). American composer. He studied at the University of Southern California and the Paris Conservatoire and has taught at various American institutions. His music ranges from the highly dissonant to the quiet and contemplative and includes five symphonies (1966-83), quartets and sacred choral pieces.
