Paul Serafin Dickson (born February 26, 1937 in Waco, Texas) is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League. Dickson was a first round selection (ninth overall pick) in the 1959 NFL Draft for the Los Angeles Rams out of Baylor University.[1] He was with five different teams over his 13 season career: the Los Angeles Rams (1959), the Dallas Cowboys (1960), the Cleveland Browns (1961),[2] the Minnesota Vikings (1961-1970), and the St. Louis Cardinals (1971). While a player for the Minnesota Vikings, the team went to Super Bowl IV at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs. He was an assistant coach for St. Louis for one season before leaving football.[citation needed] He later went on to work for Control Data Corporation. He is also a member and past president of the Minnesota chapter of the NFL Alumni Association.[citation needed]
