Paul Drane
Paul "Ace" Drane is an Australian television director. He is best known as the original studio director of the Australian TV pop show Countdown from 1974 to 1976. During this period he directed several music videos (promotional film clips) made especially for Countdown, including the original clips for the AC/DC hits "It's A Long Way To The Top" and "Jailbreak".[1][2]
Drane has been director of RockWiz for SBS One since its inception in 2005.
