Paulo Jr. (born Paulo Xisto Pinto Junior on April 30, 1969 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil) is the bassist and only remaining original member of the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura.
Life and work
In the latter half of his career, he has played 35" 5-string Zon basses, tuned flat.[citation needed]
He claims Max and Igor were so impressed by his guitar ("Wow, what a nice bass, man") that they asked him to join the band, even though he didn't know how to properly play the instrument.[citation needed]
