The Peach Throat Monitor (Varanus jobiensis) is a species of Monitor lizard, native to Australia. It belongs to the subgenus group Euprepiosaurus along with the Ceram Mangrove monitor and Finsch's Monitor.[2] They grow up to 120 cm long. The colour of the throat, for which they are named, is white-yellow to red. They eat insects, frogs, freshwater fish and small mammals.[3]
