Italian family of painters and draughtsmen. (1) Domenico Pedrini was a pupil of Vittorio Maria Bigari in Bologna but was soon much influenced by Ubaldo Gandolfi who, with Gaetano Gandolfi, taught his son (2) Filippo Pedrini. Both the Pedrini were involved in the decoration of churches and palazzi in and around Bologna, although they were overshadowed by the ubiquitous Gandolfi dynasty.
