The Pennsylvania State Archives is the official archive for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, administered as part of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. It is located in the state capitol of Harrisburg and is a part of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex.

It was founded in 1903, with records dating back to 1681. It has over 200 million documents, maps and photographs and is making many of its holding available electronically on the internet. The current building at 350 North Street is 20 stories tall and was built in 1964.
