Penny Dale is the British illustrator of the books When the Teddy bears came and Once there were giants. Penny Dale is also the writer of the books Wake up Mr. B and Princess Princess. Penny Dale was born in 1954 and currently resides in Newport. Penny Dale studied fine arts and graduated at Exeter College of Art. She's also an illustrator. In 1982, she moved to Southern Wales. She got married and had one daughter. Penny Dale is also a member of the Watercolour Society of Wales.
