Biography

Named after the cheaply made publications that lingered around drug stores at the beginning of the century, Penny Dreadful formed in Chicago in 1999. Drummer Rich Circo, guitarist/vocalist John Gidlund, and bassist/vocalist Shaun Sutherland were still in their early twenties when they formed, and used their love of mainstream alternative and classic rock to fuel their poppy hard rock.
