Per Aspera Press is an independent publisher of speculative fiction based in Seattle, Washington. It was founded by Karawynn Long and Jak Koke in 2003, and publishes original novels by both new and established authors.
Per Aspera Press takes its name from the Latin motto ad astra per aspera, which translates as "To the stars through difficulties." The phrase is also the state motto of Kansas.
