The perineal body is a fibrous point in the middle line of the perineum. It is found in both males and females, and it is between the vagina and anus, and about 1.25 cm. in front of the latter.

- External anal sphincter
- Bulbospongiosus
- Superficial transverse perineal muscle
- Anterior fibers of the levator ani
