Plot
The Perspective series explores the impact of technology on agriculture, health and medicine, and the environment. Perspective: Non-Food Crops looks at land use when food issues are no longer a concern. Wealthier nations have been able to produce a surplus of food crops due to advanced methods of agriculture. Non-food, or industrial crops, include biomass, oil seeds, and timber.
