Pescosansonesco is a comune and town in the province of Pescara in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is located at 500 m above sea level in the natural park known as the "Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park". Famous for its sanctuary, the village is divided into two parts: the old suburb, "Pescosansonesco Vecchio", and the new village, "Pescosansonesco Nuovo", which was rebuilt some 3 km away, in the so-called “Ambrosian” region.
