Peter D. Kugler (born August 9, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American football defensive lineman who played ten seasons in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers. He also played for the Philadelphia Stars of the USFL. He played college football for Penn State University.

Kugler is the son of George F. Kugler, Jr., who served as New Jersey Attorney General from 1970 to 1974. His brother Robert B. Kugler is a judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.[1]
