Not to be confused with the silver-haired American star of Mission: Impossible, Peter Graves was a popular British character actor whose five-decade career encompassed stage and feature films. He first attracted notice while starring in the 1934 London Palace Theatre production of the musical Streamline. Graves made his feature film debut in Carol Reed's Kipps (1941).
