Peter Paul Troschel

(b Nuremberg, c. 1620; d after 1667). Presumed son of (1) Hans Troschel. Little is known of his artistic career: his only known signed drawing, depicting the Elisabethkirche in Breslau [Wroclaw, Poland], suggests that he was then living in that city. His work between 1638 and 1667 can be reconstructed by means of engravings dated and signed P. A signed engraving, in the Reitschule by G. S. Winter (Nuremberg, 1643), was probably published posthumously.

Part of the Troschel family
