Plasti-Fab isn't a character from an Austin Powers flick, but rather a brand of foamy building material made by PFB Corporation. Through its Plasti-Fab Ltd. subsidiary, PFB makes expanded polystyrene resin (EPR) products for use as insulation in ceilings, walls, and floors; as flotation components in docks; as packaging material; and as road fill. Plasti-Fab operates eight manufacturing plants, including a polymer plant in Crossfield, Alberta, that produces EPR for its internal production requirements. The company distributes its products to clients that include contractors, manufacturers, building product distributors, retail chains, and government agencies throughout Canada and the US.
