Biography

Invoking alternative rock combinations and adjoining to it grunge-style influences, Phase 2 ultimately provides singular pieces of powered pop/rock supported by smart and mind-gazing lyrics. Formed in Edmond, OK, in the end of 2000, Phase 2 combines the songwriting, guitar, and vocal works of Daniel Eischeid, Roblee Fredricks (bass), Jason Lauderdale (guitar), and Chris Johnston (drums). Following several months of practice during which Eischeid composed numerous themes, the band began to play across several local clubs, eventually gathering a considerable number of fans. In 2001, the band entered the studio, recording what turned out to be their debut album, Supernatural Selection, which hit the record stores in that same year. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
