Filomeno Coronada Ortega (October 7, 1939 in Gilbert, Arizona), is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He pitched from 1960-1969 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, California Angels, and Washington Senators. Ortega was of Yaqui Indian descent.[1] During a 10-year baseball career, Ortega compiled 46 wins, 549 strikeouts, and a 4.43 earned run average.
Phil is a 1959 graduate of Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona.
