Photoblogging, on-line photo publishing via a ‘weblog’ (‘blog’), a journal-form, constantly updatable website. This type of Internet publishing became widespread with the appearance from c. 2000 of user-friendly site-design software. Typical weblog components may include a picture gallery, archive, photographer CV, and links to other sites. Photoblogging may be used to record everyday experiences, chronicle a journey, or exhibit and sell photographs.
