Physalia physalis
Common blue-colored jellyfish in the genus Physalia with stinging filaments trailing from a central medusa. Records of poisoning in animals are very rare but deaths do occur in infested colonies of farmed fish. Called also Portuguese man-of-war, bluebottle.
